Cobra® UV-stabilised cable ties are manufactured from PA6.6 nylon with a dedicated UV-stabilisation compound, providing superior protection against prolonged light exposure. Available in green RAL 6005 for visual integration in outdoor environments, and in black for standard installations.

UV-Stabilised Cable Ties PA6.6 — Outdoor Cable Ties for Long-Term UV Resistance

Black carbon-black cable ties provide a UV resistance for general outdoor use. Cobra® UV-stabilised cable ties go a step further; they incorporate a specific UV-stabilisation. The stabilized formulation increases resistance to UV exposure and environmental degradation, extending the service life of cable ties.

Green vs. Black UV-Stabilised: When to Choose Each

UV Green (RAL 6005):
The green version is specifically developed for installations where cable ties must blend visually into natural surroundings: horticultural supports and vine tying, green fencing and trellis systems, landscaping and garden infrastructure, arboriculture and tree staking, agricultural binding. The RAL 6005 colour is the standard moss-green shade used in agricultural and horticultural applications.
UV Black:
The black UV-stabilised is specified for installations with continuous direct sun exposure over multiple years as solar PV mounting structures, outdoor telecom masts, marine and coastal cabling, exposed cable trays on building façades, road and infrastructure signage.
