Identification Cable Ties with Large Marker Plate - Type 3
The Type 3 marker plate is the largest identification surface in the Cobra® cable tie range. The 13 × 28 mm tag provides sufficient space for multi-line text references, sequential asset numbers, barcode labels, or QR codes linking to digital asset management records. Like Type 1, the tag is positioned under the head, facing the bundle surface.
When to Use Large Under-Head Tag Type 3 vs. Type 1 and Type 2
Type 3 is the appropriate choice when the identification content exceeds the tag space available on Type 1 (25.4 × 8 mm) or Type 2 (20.4 × 9 mm) — for example, when recording circuit reference plus panel number plus revision code, or when applying a printed barcode of sufficient density for scanner reading.
The cable ties’ body has a width of 4.8 mm wide; it is a sturdy cable ties that provides a superior tensile strenght compared to Type 1 and 2 models.
