Flame retardant cable ties – UL 94 V0
1,00€

Cobra® flame retardant cable ties in Polyamide 6.6, white color, UL94 V0 flammability class. Tooth-and-rack system for reliable fastening across various diameters. Manual or tool installation. Available in various sizes.
Self-estinguishing cable ties designed to achieve fire behavior levels suitable for demanding applications and environments with high safety standards. They comply with the V-0 classification, which certifies the material’s ability to self-extinguish within seconds after exposure to a flame and not to produce incandescent drops capable of promoting the spread of fire. They are manufactured with raw materials that guarantee rapid self-extinguishing after the removal of the flame and the absence of potentially propagating flaming drops.
CE, RoHS, REACH, EN45545-2
Product Usage Information
APPLICATIONS: Used for binding, fastening, and sealing; once closed, they cannot be reopened. They find particular application in electrical wiring where it is necessary to hold together or secure cables; they are also useful in all situations where a non-reusable tie is needed.
METHOD OF USE: Wrap the cable tie around the products to be fastened, insert the tail into its head up to the pre-engagement tooth, correctly position the elements to be fastened (if necessary, with a slight pull, the cable tie can still be reopened for better positioning), grasp the tail on the knurled part, and pull until completely tightened. Cut off the unused protruding part.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE:
Generally resistant to temperatures between -40 °C and +85 °C
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:
Good: Resistance to bases, oils, greases, petroleum-based solvents, alcohol, and ketones.
Limited: Limited resistance to acids.
Not resistant: Not resistant to phenols.
Halogen-free materials do NOT contain chlorine or bromine and in the event of fire produce fewer toxic and corrosive fumes, generating fewer acid gases (e.g. HCl). For this reason they are required in the electrical field or in enclosed spaces (tunnels, trains, public buildings)
COMPLIANT WITH CE EUROPEAN STANDARDS
